SAC provides a wide range of diverse activities to meet the needs and tastes of all students. Five programming committees help ensure that there's something for everyone.

Cultural Arts presents programs in the arts and/or multicultural formats. Events may include dance, theater, art, and literature. Past events include: Chinese acrobats, Mexican folk dancers, African drum groups, and break dancers.

Entertainment can encompass many programming genres; however, the committee tends to focus on music, comedy, and coffeehouse programming. Past events include: India.Arie, Shinedown, Dave Chappelle, Blake Shelton, and Ludacris.

Ideas & Issues works to provide open discussion of ideas, current events, and issues by using formats such as speakers, forums, debates, awareness weeks, and workshops. Past events include: llyasah Shabazz, Real World Reunion, Domestic Violence Awareness Week, and the Rock & Roll History tour.

Special Events provides the widest variety of programming with programs ranging from semi-formals to movies, hypnotists to game shows. Past events include: Drive-In Movies, Homecoming Cadre Party, Hypnotist Tom Deluca, and the Dating Doctor.

University Traditions coordinates traditional spirit-based programs such as Homecoming, Welcome Week, and Spring Fling. Each of these programs includes components such as cookouts, festivals, and entertainment. Past events include: Homecoming Parade, Homecoming Kickoff, Student Involvement Festival, and Spring Fling.
